ENAS EXPERIENCE 2026 - DUBLIN

‘Delivering inclusive and impactful sporting programmes for all’

Overview

Trinity College Dublin is delighted to be hosting the ENAS experience for 2026.  Founded in 1592, Trinity is ranked as Ireland’s no.1 academic institution, with a sporting heritage established over four centuries and home to some of the world's oldest sports clubs.  Trinity Sport continues to deliver a lasting legacy of impactful and life changing experiences through sport and physical activity, and we are looking forward to sharing this and learning from ENAS colleagues.

The theme of ENAS Experience 2026 Dublin is ‘delivering inclusive and impactful sporting programmes for all’, which will focus on some of the widening participation projects completed within Trinity Sport over the past 5 years, and sharing some of the tools and knowledge our team have developed in making sport more accessible and inclusive for all user groups.

The theme is aligned to the EU work plan for sport 2024-2027 and matches the EU focus on social inclusion, equal access and support for underrepresented groups, and enables cross-institution impact in different areas, like wellbeing and social cohesion.

We hope to create a thought provoking, inspiring, and engaging programme that participants can contribute to and bring into their own work as part of the 26/27 academic year.  As part of the schedule participants will explore Trinity Sport facilities, the University Campuses, and experience the culture, flavours, and sporting heritage of Dublin and Ireland.

Who is the Target Group?

The programme will suit coaches, development officers, fitness staff, mangers, and anyone involved in the design and delivery of student sport initiatives.  Whether you have experience or are new to the field, this event is tailored for every ENAS members.
