On the 30th of January, the ENAS Manager Andrea Castagna and few members of the Network participated in the annual Erasmus+ Sport Info Day. The aim of the meeting was to provide information of the topic of the Eramsus+ Sport Call for 2020.

There are three types of Erasmus+ Actions which can allow organisations to get funds: not-for-profit European Sport Events; small Collaborative Partnerships and Collaborative Partnerships.

For comparison, the budget of 2020 for Sport is 57,5 million Eur divided as follow:

– Small Collaborative Partnerships: 10 million Eur;
– Collaborative Partnerships: 42,5 million Eur
– Not-for-profit European sport events: 5 million Eur

 

Collaborative Partnerships

The political priorities for Collaborative Partnerships are:

– Doping /Match-fixing;
– Good governance;
– Education and Dual careers;
– Social inclusion;
– Equal opportunities;
– Promotion of physical activity.

Eligibility Criteria for the Project
In order to be considered eligible for a Eramsus+ Sport grant, a project must:

– Have at least 5 organisations from 5 different Programme Countries;
– Have a fixed Duration: 12, 18, 24, 30 or 36 months;
– Have a budget in line with the financial requirements (max. 400 000 Eur);
– Be submitted before the deadline (2 April 2020, 17.00 CET).


Small Collaborative Partnerships

The political priorities for Small Collaborative Partnerships are:

– Social inclusion;
– European traditional sports & games;
– Mobility;
– Protection of young athletes;
– Education.

Eligibility Criteria for the Project
In order to be considered eligible for a Eramsus+ Sport grant, a project must:

– Have at least 3 organisations from 3 different Programme Countries;
– Duration must be between 12 – 24 months;
– Have a budget in line with the financial requirements (max. 60 000 Eur);
– Be submitted before the deadline (2 April 2020, 17.00 CET).


Not-for-profit European Sport Events

The political priorities for European Sport Events are:

– Volunteering;
– Social inclusion;
– Gender equality;
– Promotion of physical activity;
– European Week of Sport.

Eligibility Criteria for the Project
In order to be considered eligible for a Eramsus+ Sport grant, a project must:

– Have a fixed Duration: up to 12 months;
– Have a budget in line with the financial requirements (max. 500 000 Eur);
– Be submitted before the deadline (2 April 2020, 17.00 CET).

Award Criteria for the Project in all three Erasmus+ Actions
The projects will be evaluated according to the following features:

– Relevance of the project;
– Quality of the project design and implementation;
– Quality of the project team and the cooperation arrangements;
– Impact and dissemination;
– Evidence based Project;
– Coherent Project: problems, solutions, target groups, activities, budget, ambitions/ resources/ competence, etc.;
– Simplicity and clearness: objectives and approach, identified need for such proposal, the solutions, and the outputs;
– Rigorous planning: which activities, when, for how long, and with what resources, etc.;
– Explicit: do not take for granted any information; if it is not in the application, it cannot be taken into account;
– Circumscribed Project – a proposal is not about solving the world’s problems, but about solving a specific issue.
