Radboud University was established on 17 October 1923 and celebrates it’s 95th birthday in 2018 with various special celebrations. The Sports Centre celebrated it’s 50th birthday in 2016, offers 80 different sports and has associated 40 student  sport clubs.

Nijmegen, European Green Capital 2018

Nijmegen has earned the award of European Green Capital by spending many years working hard on greening and sustainability. After Copenhagen, Bristol, Ljubljana and Essen, Nijmegen is the first Dutch city to be awarded the Green Capital Award.
