Save the Dream, has just started the implementation of EYVOL – “Empowering Youth Volunteers through Sport”, a two-year project co-funded by the European Union within the Erasmus+ programme aimed at developing a common framework on “Sport Volunteerism”, through the development and implementation of innovative educational methods to train youth volunteers on how to utilise sport to promote inter-cultural dialogue, peace and socio-economic development based in a collection of evidence and best practices, while examining perceptions around a wide range of stakeholders and young volunteers.

On behalf of EYVOL, which is leaded by the International Olympic Truce Center (IOTC), I would like to seek your cooperation and ask you to consider sharing this YOUTH QUESTIONNAIRE within your youth network.

The aim of the questionnaire is to gather data and to create a robust evidence base about the current status on sport volunteering in Europe and beyond, as a tool to empower youth.

Attached you can find a short description of EYVOL – “Empowering Youth Volunteers through Sport”, and the list of its partners.

The insertion of information will take approximately 10 minutes, and all responses are strictly anonymous; the results are aggregated in the overall final analysis.

We greatly appreciate all the contributions and remarks which can be provided by your youth network. It is essential to give a voice to youth and include their opinion in the global analysis and outcomes of the EYVOL project, trusting these outcome will have a positive impact upon European Union and international policy making decisions regarding the role of young volunteers in the sport context.

Many thanks for your support!
