The University of Leicester have been announced as the ENAS Award Winners for 2017 with their project ‘Leicester Academy’.

The award was decided by the ENAS Forum delegates who each had one casting vote.

Following presentations on Thursday morning, the winner was announced during the closing dinner of the Forum.

Leicester Academy won a prize of €1500 and €1000 worth of Kukri Sportswear.

Matthew Weir speaks on the ENAS Award win:

Leicester Academy offers students the opportunity to gain a wide range of coaching qualifications which they can then demonstrate by overseeing sport sessions in local schools.

It also gives them an opportunity to develop valuable life and workplace skills.
